Who We Are

Imaging Research & Technology develops and markets very high quality PET scanners achieving unmatched spatial resolution for the human brain as well as a variety of configurations of preclinical scanners. IR&T is proud to have strong partnerships and research collaborations with teams at the Université de Sherbrooke, with industry leading companies and with many research centers. Our LabPET scanners will enable major advances in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and increase diagnostic possibilities, changing how and when PET scanners are used by imaging centers.

Our mission is to develop and deliver the best PET scanners in the world to allow new impactful discoveries in healthcare field of research and to bring game changing diagnostic tools on the market to help millions of patients.

Our Vision

We are aiming to become the world leader in preclinical PET & PET/CT imaging. We also develop and market human brain PET scanners with ultra high spatial resolution and their high value-added devices & softwares.

The LabPET Team

Over 40 highly qualified people currently work on the various LabPET projects. The team is composed of experienced professional from multidisciplinary backgrounds, from nuclear medicine to electrical engineering and image reconstruction, allowing us to achieve high risk projects and reach ambitious goals. IR&T directly collaborates with seven Canadian companies involved in the development and the fabrication of our scanners.
