Preclinical Sales Manager

Imaging Research & Technology (IR&T) develops and markets Ultra High-Quality PET scanners offering unmatched spatial resolution for the human brain as well as for a variety of preclinical scanner configurations. IR&T is proud to have strong partnerships and research collaborations with teams from the University of Sherbrooke, leading companies and various international research centers. Our LabPET scanners will enable major advances in the field of neurodegenerative diseases research and significantly increase diagnostic possibilities, changing how and when PET scanners are used by imaging centers. Preclinical Sales Manager

The position of Preclinical Sales Manager consists of marketing our LabPET II preclinical scanners and other products to potential customers using your expertise in nuclear imaging and medical equipment. As a Preclinical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base across North America and Europe. You will develop strategic sales plans and evaluate their potential.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze market trends in order to identify target markets for business opportunities;
  • Provide strategic recommendations to achieve company objectives;
  • Conduct bids and apply on tenders identified in the market.
  • Ensure the development of the clientele throughout the Canadian, American and European territories;
  • Develop a strategic plan and plan the growth of the targeted territory;
  • Anticipate the present and future needs of the clients, put the necessary efforts to offer adapted options and seize any additional business opportunity;
  • Generate ideas for events or promotional activities and organize them effectively;
  • Develop and close business for all contracts, including new service sales opportunities, service contract renewals/extensions, etc. ;
  • Organize and participate in international conferences to acquire new clients;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred undergraduate degree in business administration, medical technology, nuclear imaging, biology or other relevant field;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills and natural propensity for interpersonal relations with clients and peers;
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; Ability to identify business opportunities and create a portfolio of contacts, useful and necessary for business development;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Language: French/English at professional level
